Scholarship
application details
The scholarship application process begins after a student is formally admitted to ADU and assigned a unique student ID number. Eligible students can then log in to the university's online self-service account and apply for the scholarships they qualify for based on their academic records.
Document Requirements (varies by program):
- Completed ADU admission application form
- Academic transcripts & certificates (high school for UG/bachelor's for PG)
- Minimum GPA requirements (UG continuing = 3.60 for Academic Scholarship, PG entry ≥ 3.5 for Merit-based)
- Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent)
- Passport copy (international students)
- Passport-sized photograph
- For athletic scholarships: proof of sports achievements
- For family tuition waiver: proof of relation (siblings/parents enrolled)
Additional
Info
- Students must remain full-time (enrolled in≥12 credit hours/semester) to retain the scholarship.
- Waivers do not cover repeated/failed courses (grades F, W, WA).
- If a student qualifies for multiple waivers, they must select one (cannot combine).
- Some undergraduate scholarships (like Hamdan Bin Zayed) require outstanding academic and leadership achievements.
- Scholarships are competitive, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an award.
