Overview
- The Al Jalila Foundation offers a UAE Scholarship Program to fund postgraduate medical & health sciences studies within UAE institutions accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
- Historically, the Foundation has also opened international scholarship rounds (e.g. 2020/2021) aiming to support Emirati students to pursue medical specialisation abroad, especially in fields like virology, genomics, stem cells, immunology, etc.
- Since its inception, the Foundation has invested in medical education, research, and healthcare, awarding many scholarships (locally and internationally).

Scholarship

- Must apply to a postgraduate medical / health sciences program at a UAE institution accredited by CAA.
- Strong academic record in a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Eligibility is primarily limited to UAE Nationals / Emiratis.
- Past international rounds: Applicants pursued specialisation abroad (e.g. Harvard, Boston University) in virology, immunology, genomics, etc.
- English proficiency as required by the program.
- Transcripts, acceptance letter (or conditional offer), references, CV, and personal statement.
- Must comply with the Al Jalila Foundation scholarship agreement.
