Overview
The Hult Global Generation Scholarship is one of the merit-based awards offered by Hult International Business School - one of the world's most internationally diverse business schools with campuses in Boston, London, Dubai, and San Francisco. This scholarship is specifically designed for incoming students who bring a unique global perspective, multicultural background, or multilingual ability to the Hult community.
Hult International Business School is accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA - the three most prestigious global business education accreditation bodies. The school consistently ranks among the top institutions worldwide for international diversity and experiential business education.
The Global Generation Scholarship recognizes students who have lived, studied, or worked across cultures, or who are fluent in multiple languages, and who demonstrate that these experiences have meaningfully shaped their worldview. Application Process
- Step 1: Apply for Admission First: Before applying for the Global Generation Scholarship, you must first submit your full application to a Hult program (BBA, Master’s, or MBA). Scholarship applications cannot be submitted independently.
- Step 2: Submit Scholarship Essay or Video: Once your admission application is in progress or complete, you must separately submit either a 400–500 word written essay or a 2–5 minute video to be considered for this scholarship.
- Step 3: Selection and Notification: Scholarship decisions are communicated alongside your admission decision, typically within 2 weeks of completing the full application process.
- Rolling Admissions: Hult operates on rolling admissions, meaning applications are reviewed as they come in. Applying early significantly increases your chances of receiving a scholarship, as awards are limited each intake.
Essay / Video Submission Requirements
To be considered for the Global Generation Scholarship, you must submit one of the following:
- A written essay of 400–500 words, OR
- A video of 2–5 minutes
Your submission must demonstrate your global mindset by answering one of the two following questions:
- How has your global experience or multilingualism contributed to who you are today?
- How have your multicultural experiences affected your future ambitions, and how will studying at Hult support your aspirations?
Eligibility & Document Requirements
- Global Mindset Requirement: The core eligibility criterion is demonstrating a genuine global perspective shaped by international experience, living abroad, or fluency in more than one language. You do not need to be from a specific country - this scholarship is open to all nationalities.
- Admitted or Applying to Hult: You must be an incoming undergraduate or postgraduate student applying to any Hult program. Students already enrolled are not eligible for this particular award.
- Full Admission Application: Your main student application must be submitted before the scholarship application is processed. This includes academic transcripts, language test scores, and any required essays or interviews set by the admissions team.
- English Language Proficiency: All non-native English speakers must provide valid scores from IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo English Test. Score requirements vary by program; check the Hult admissions page for specific minimums.
- Academic Record: While there is no stated minimum GPA for the Global Generation Scholarship specifically, strong academic performance strengthens your overall application profile.
- Supporting Documents: Applicants are encouraged to include extracurricular certificates of achievement and, for BBA applicants, a recommendation from a high school counselor or college advisor.
